I have been working as a back ground extra for a company called Local Color. They have been really sweet to me, getting me special skills gigs and commercial gigs as an extra. I love being on set, I get to meet a whole bunch of new and unusual people, I get to see how the TV and Film industry works and of course, I make a bit of money while doing it.  Most of the time you don’t actually see me in anything I have done, but this one volunteer gig I did was with the Vancouver Circus School last fall, and I got a short moment on the Rick Mercer Report!

When meeting Rick he was very similar to his persona on his show, which is pretty awesome. He swore a lot trying many of the circus tricks and it was hilarious to watch him torture himself a bit. I guess the circus isn’t for everyone!
