There is a lot to be said about grounding out. Contact Juggling is an exercise in balance, and it’s a wonder how I got this far without understanding balance of myself. Over this past year, I have been taking workshops, and working with directors who are guiding me to a deeper understanding of my own body.
This is a video that shows some of that work. Especially near the end with one ball. You can see the difference now, from when I feel internally balanced and when I am not paying attention. It has decreased my pains and increased my practice.
There is much to say about this, however, I do not have time for a full essay today. I will be following up with ideas on how to increase your level of internal awareness inside your own body.
